Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Uthûg's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oppleby embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Description: He stands about 6'6" and wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He has wavy blue crest. His half smiles and red eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult.
