Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Watson began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Peter grew up listening to his father's many stories. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills.
