History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He is renowned for his bright green suits and hats, marred by teas. His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has achieved small success as a Fortune-teller.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Heward was born with his mother's beautiful face. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. With a patchy auburn beard and wild auburn hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is content; and to find somewhere to settle down
