History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: The child of a Shepherd, who enjoyed hunting, Shadow was taken on many hunting expeditions. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He bought a bastard sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Courier responsibilities is difficult; and to find somewhere to settle down
