History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Edge was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Marshal profession.

History: Born in the north to a Dyer, Leaf learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Dyer and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dyer responsibilities is difficult; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
