Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miller.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. After a long history of fighting, Paggen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: An older man who is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, he is not a threatening figure. His black hair is long and unkept. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. The war was a terrible time for him, and Jocelyn does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
