He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents enrolled him in a Ranger school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
