Personality: Umpen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Through the years after Umpen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Bather father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
