History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Cockaby never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mugrunden fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Lamlis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Paggen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Paggen was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Shipwright. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
