Traki was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bookbinder. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
