History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tree grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tree. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Geoffrey was taken on many hunting expeditions. He found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
