History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: Bathin hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.

History: Bathin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and seeks redemption
