Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His hair is short and white. His white eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Balam was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Crown-heir. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He sports a flattop hair cut. His gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His green crest is singed and shortened. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Maagog will drive conversation. He plays an instrument quite well.
History: Maagog was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: To unite with his sister; and regain custody of his son

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
