Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: William hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Heian never married again.
