Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His hair is auburn and very short. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ortegar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ortegar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Halfling Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Baern isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: Baern was born with his father's beautiful face. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Blacksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Scribe, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Balimaar hails from a village terrorized by giants. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mason. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mason for the past few years.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
