History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Argran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
