History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears skinny pants and wears a grey and brown robe with the hood down. His hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Valafar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: This man wears bulky tan painted plate armor. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His blonde hair is unkempt and raggedy. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thorpe embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Thorpe was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
