Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. The war was a terrible time for him, and Vonbin does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Vonbin was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the north to a Shipwright, Therai learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. After a long history of fighting, Therai and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ombul embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Ombul was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Halfling Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
