Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He prefers to wear flannel. His hair is silver, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Qualen embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born to a Soapmaker, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
