He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A 2'10" eastern man, he wears skinny pants and wears a blue and black robe with the hood down. His golden hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Halander was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Halander decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His blonde hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and sabotage a competitor

He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized jet on his left hand. His silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rolen embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and retire the richest man in the south
