Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Snafû fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Curran was born with his father's beautiful face. Curran abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Knight. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a white tunic with black highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes. His beige fur is greasy and uncared for. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Smoking lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Smoking grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Smoking. He struck the Bellfounder job and began his own company from there.
