He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Flame's homeland. Flame decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He became a Miller soon after.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud
