History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length red hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Navigator but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He takes great joy in being the best Blacksmith in town.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.
