Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Direcris does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Direcris took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Paymon was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Gennal speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gennal was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
