Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He wears his red hair up in a very large beehive style do. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Chad grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Chad. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Courier born in the past three hundred years. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rolf does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His childhood dream was to be a Baker, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Courier.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This tall, slender man wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with brown colored cloaks and clothing. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
