Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Dwarves. His skin is dark but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He wears a yellow armored body suit, with a simple black line shooting up and back down. His hair is short and black. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Rurik enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Rurik was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. After a long history of fighting, Rurik and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and dwarven compassion

Description: He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His auburn hair is heavily combed to the left. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and to be a server again

Description: An older man who is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants, he is not a threatening figure. He wears his silver hair up. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Dwarven culture. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Spice Merchant but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
