Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and very much looks the part of a Guard. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His white hair is braided into rings. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born in the west to a Guard, Arannis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Blacksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Guard, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is mildly Halfling supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with his absent father

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He tends to his Weaver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
