History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Map Maker for the past few years.

Rolen decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the north to a Gardener, Heian learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heian. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
