History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Barendd was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tanner for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
