Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He has lavender fur. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Smoking is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy dark red stubble. He is dressed in a clean blue cloak covering his clean studded leather. He has a hunchback. His hair, while still mostly dark red, has prominent grey streaks. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Zephan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Description: This eastern man is wearing a tight tan one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has dyed his greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Layabout. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Jocelyn was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Barkeep, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This man wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and retire the richest man in the south
