He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Vanuath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is greedy
