History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A freak accident while working with his Miner father left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Stableman but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
