Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, and carries greataxes. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burto embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Spice Merchant mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His black crest, when down, is lengthy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the north were limited. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and a deep hatred of gnolls
