Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His copper crest is still thick. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gold eyes.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Quarethon was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Spice Merchant and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He is fixated on the number 68. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Efferil hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He worked as a nervous Scribe and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins.

Description: He stands about 3'4" and is dressed in earthy colors with a blue and tan handkerchief worn on his left side. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 49. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is greedy; and many illithids want him driven away
