History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Odo alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Laucian's homeland. Laucian decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Orc activists.
