History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Amûg was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Amûg fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Interpreter born in the past three hundred years. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Gifted from a young age, Thorpe studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Thorpe took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He tends to his Interpreter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Interpreter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his youth he was a Scribe, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
