History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Blacksmith arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Direcris alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born in the east to a Layabout, Thoradin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. Quarion enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a blue tunic with white highlights, and long yellow pants that bunch up around his shoes. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: The child of a Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Mindartis was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Mindartis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
