History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Zephan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Zephan and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
