His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is an amazing painter.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Barendd was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Navigator. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His blonde hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Map Maker. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Sailor but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and wants his loneliness to end
