Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Umpen never married again. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
