History: Watson hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.
