Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Valafar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Bookbinder kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Merchant. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Merchant.
