History: Shamash lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dragonborn activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dragonborn doctor. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
