He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears a tan top hat and tan clothes. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Gardener. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears just a green suit. He wears his blue hair down. He is baby faced.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Valafar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Valafar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
