Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in the east to a Dyer, Baern learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Ur-Masi was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ur-Masi's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
