History: Born in the east to a Cartwright, Art learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and money/treasure
