When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mayor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: Born in the north to a Shepherd, Rathkran learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has worked as a Shepherd like his mother before him.
