History: Charles hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A freak accident while working with his Layabout father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: The child of a Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Laucian was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Laucian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
