Through the years after Sweet was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Sweet's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
