Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for him, and Darrak does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Darrak grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Darrak. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This light-skinned male is dressed in an above average manner. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Mindartis was born with his father's beautiful face. Mindartis was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. After a long history of fighting, Mindartis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Ar-Gul is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ar-Gul was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ar-Gul was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bellfounder. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he is greedy

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He has the majority of his body covered in plate. His white hair is still thick. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: William is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he feels kind of lost in life
